The main objectives of this unit are to acquire the fundamental knowledge in game theory and reinforcement learning for further learning multiagent systems technologies and to introduce a multiagent simulation tool, NetLogo. Game theory plays a key role in mastering multiagent systems and, therefore, plays a fundamental role in the course. Game theory is the mathematical study of interaction among independent and self-interested agents. Markov decision process (MDP) is one of the most powerful models to describe the multiagent problem. NetLogo is an easy-to-use multiagent programmable modelling environment.
